Job description

The Application Support Analyst will focus on the day-to-day support, configuration, and operational health of business applications and automation platforms. The Application Support Analyst serves as a platform steward-ensuring systems are configured correctly, operate reliably, support business workflows as intended, and produce expected outcomes. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day operational support for assigned business applications, automations, and workflows
  • Configure and maintain application settings, workflows, and business rules based on business requirements, best practices, and vendor recommendations
  • Troubleshoot application and configuration issues, including errors, failed outcomes, workflow failures, and automation exceptions
  • Monitor application stability, behavior, and outcomes to identify errors, trends, and reliability concerns
  • Perform impact analysis for configuration and workflow changes prior to implementation
  • Follow established change management protocols
  • Coordinate with vendors on defects, configuration issues, upgrades, and platform changes
  • Document application configurations, workflows, dependencies, and known operational behaviors
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into configuration changes or support actions
  • Perform post-change validation to confirm configurations and automations are functioning as expected
  • Support release management activities related to vendor updates and configuration changes
  • Assist Quality Assurance and UAT efforts by providing environment, configuration, and application context
  • Validate integration touchpoints at the configuration and workflow level
  • Support audits by providing configuration documentation, validation evidence, and explanations of system behavior
  • Stay current with industry trends, vendor offerings, and best practices in application support

Requirements

Do you have experience in User acceptance testing?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred

  • 3-5 Years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience supporting and configuring multiple business applications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with administration and configuration of a variety of applications, including low-code and no-code platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of client/server and cloud-based applications
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Understanding data privacy and security best practices
  • Understanding of Financial Industry products and services
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
