Job description
UST is looking for a strong IBM MDM Expert with Java to work on a complex customer MDM system in a high demanding multi-vendor environment.
The opportunity:

Develop and customize solutions in IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management.

Configure data models, match/merge rules, survivorship rules, and hierarchies.

Implement custom extensions using Java within the MDM framework.

Troubleshoot MDM workflows, services, and batch processes
-
Write and maintain Java 21 code for MDM services and integrations.

Implement multithreaded processing for high-volume data operations.
-
Apply object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
-
Develop utilities or microservices supporting the MDM platform.

Requirements

Mandatory: Java, Spring Boot, Azure, Rest API,SQL

Skills and experiences:
-
5-7 years hands on experience in Java development at enterprise level (recent)

Strong programming skills in Java, including object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and familiarity with Java frameworks

Understanding of microservices architecture and experience in building and deploying microservices-based applications

Hands-on experience in developing Spring Boot applications, including dependency injection, ORM (Object-Relational Mapping), and REST API development

Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL

Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices, including automated testing, build pipelines, and deployment strategies

Proficiency in writing SQL queries as per industrial standards, fine-tuned for optimization

Strong problem-solving abilities, good communication (written & verbal) skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are also important for this role.

UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below., Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines.
