This team creates sustainable value and competitive advantage by leveraging advanced analytics, AI, and actionable insights across the enterprise, with a strong focus on manufacturing outcomes and future-forward innovation. The role works closely with data scientists, product partners, and manufacturing teams to deliver scalable, real-world AI solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Provide technical direction and architectural guidance for cloud and edge-based AI solutions.
  • Build and operate scalable orchestration across cloud and distributed edge clusters (Kubernetes/EKS).
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to launch new AI products and evolve existing capabilities.
  • Write high-quality, production-grade code using modern AI and analytics technologies.
  • Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and hands-on technical leadership.
  • Proactively identify technical debt and implement improvements to accelerate product iteration.
  • Establish and uphold best practices for system design, reliability, and performance.
  • Manage personal learning while contributing to the technical growth of the team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience building and operating distributed software systems, including experience leading technical design and delivery.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Docker, Bash scripting, and additional programming languages.
  • Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, and IAM.
  • Experience building and deploying containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS) and/or AWS ECS.
  • Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka, NATS, MQTT, or similar platforms.
  • Experience using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Helm.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with edge computing architectures and hybrid cloud deployments.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience deploying and operating applications on edge devices.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
