UI Engineer (React / Frontend)

Zip Zap IT is seeking a UI Engineer to develop modern, responsive interfaces for the Committee Portal platform. This role focuses on building high-quality React components aligned with UX designs and integrating backend services within a cloud-native architecture, * Develop React components using TypeScript based on UX wireframes and acceptance criteria

• Integrate UI components with GraphQL/APIs
• Develop and maintain unit tests (Vitest or similar)
• Debug and resolve UI defects identified by testers and users
• Collaborate with backend engineers and UX designers to deliver cohesive features
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and sprint delivery cycles

Do you have experience in Web applications?, * 5+ years of frontend development experience

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript
• Experience using Vitest or a similar framework to unit test
• Experience building UI from wireframes and UX specifications
• Experience developing unit-tested frontend components
• Experience integrating APIs into UI applications
• Experience in federal or legislative systems, * Experience with Ant Design, React Query, Zustand
• Familiarity with GraphQL-based UI integration
• Experience in Agile development environments using ADO
• Experience with containerized/cloud-hosted applications
