Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Program Manager to support the delivery of complex, cross-functional programs critical to UKG's public sector strategy. In this role, you will lead large-scale initiatives that span product development, security, compliance, and go-to-market readiness, ensuring delivery is aligned with business priorities and customer commitments.

Leveraging strong technical acumen, executive-level communication skills, and a servant-leadership mindset, you will orchestrate work across diverse teams, proactively manage risk and dependencies, and drive measurable outcomes. This role requires the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, and translate regulatory and customer needs into actionable, well-governed delivery plans.

Responsibilites:

  • Coordinate efforts to obtain and maintain FedRAMP certification for all in scope UKG solutions

  • Stay current on all FedRAMP requirements

  • Help educate UKG stakeholders about FedRAMP requirements and best practice compliance solutions

  • Work with technical teams to help prioritize FedRAMP compliance efforts

  • Drive technical team's project plan, ensure integration with UKG's overall FedRAMP Program Plan

  • Provide regular status updates of technical development efforts

  • Support coordination of technical teams during control assessments (internal and 3rd party)

  • Support the collection of continuous monitoring deliverables to deliver to customers, as required

  • Interface with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including internal teams, consultants, government agencies, and the FedRAMP PMO (Program Management Office)

  • Manage and facilitate efforts related to FedRAMP certification as assigned by UKG's FedRAMP program team

  • Drive and Leverage cross-functional teams through strong communication and negotiation skills, effectively collaborating with stakeholders to for consensus and alignment on objectives, scope, and deliverables, and consistently advocating for the best interests of the organization while maintaining positive relationships

Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience working on federal cyber security projects

  • Proven track record as a Technical Program Manager leading successful FedRAMP authorization efforts for cloud services

  • Knowledge and experience in large, hybrid FedRAMP program management efforts.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Knowledge and experience working with NIST 800-53 controls

  • Knowledge and experience working with technical teams to build solutions on Cloud platforms, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in technical project management with a focus on FedRAMP

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience with large-scale SaaS-based environments

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI

Benefits & conditions

The pay range for this position is $102,300 to $147,050, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
