Job description

  • Provision and configure Dell PowerEdge (eg: R470) servers including iDRAC setup, license upgrade, firmware and BIOS upgrades.
  • Manage iDRAC settings including hostname, IP, MAC address, SSL certificates, TLS/SSH configuration, SNMP, and NTP.
  • Configure and verify RAID 1 storage, hardware health checks (HDD, Memory, CPU, NICs), and RACADM tool installation.
  • Deploy Windows Server 2025 via ISO mount, configure hostname, IP, NIC teaming, gateway, and disable IPv6.
  • Perform Windows activation, apply system updates, install latest Intel Ethernet drivers

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Windows Infrastructure Engineer to support project activities involving Dell PowerEdge server provisioning, Windows Server 2025 deployment, and end-to-end post-build configuration. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience managing Dell iDRAC hardware, configuring network services such as DNS and DHCP, and securing Windows environments through firewall, RDP, TLS, and SSL certificate management. The role requires expertise in deploying and configuring monitoring and security tools including Splunk Forwarder, Microsoft Defender, Puppet, and System Edge agents. Candidates must be proficient in NIC teaming, IP configuration, Windows activation, and applying system updates and latest Ethernet drivers. Experience with iDRAC license upgrades, RAID 1 configuration, firmware and BIOS upgrades, and RACADM tool installation is essential. The engineer will also be responsible for user account management, SSH key configuration, NTP and SNMP setup, and integrating servers into enterprise monitoring platforms. Strong knowledge of DNS forwarder configuration pointing to Umbrella DNS, DHCP scope setup, and DNS logging is required. The candidate should be comfortable following detailed technical runbooks and delivering tasks independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment., * Hands-on experience in Windows Server administration (2019/2022/2025).

  • Strong expertise in Dell PowerEdge server management and iDRAC configuration.
  • Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, RDP, SSHD, NTP, SNMP, and Windows Firewall.
  • Experience with SSL/TLS certificate management and CSR creation.
  • Hands-on experience with Splunk Forwarder, MS Defender, and Puppet.
  • Knowledge of RAID configuration and NIC teaming on Windows Server.
