Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accessibility & QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in ADA compliance and WCAG 2.1/2.2 (Level A & AA) standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, ensuring that our digital products meet accessibility requirements and deliver a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct accessibility testing to ensure compliance with ADA and WCAG 2.1/2.2 (Level A & AA).
  • Perform manual API testing using Postman to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, ReadyAPI, BrowserStack, or similar frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to identify accessibility gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Document test cases, test results, and compliance reports for stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on evolving accessibility standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of ADA compliance and WCAG 2.1/2.2 (Level A & AA) standards.
  • Proficiency in Postman for manual API testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, ReadyAPI, BrowserStack, or similar.
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate accessibility findings and collaborate across teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in accessibility audits and remediation.
  • Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-device testing.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
