This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing HPE NonStop (Tandem) systems that support core ATM and card processing operations, including the Base24 platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fault-tolerant systems, infrastructure support, system performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities

Administer and support HPE NonStop (Tandem) systems in a high-availability environment

Perform system configurations, upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance

Monitor system health, capacity, performance, and uptime

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and infrastructure-related issues

Support application deployments, performance tuning, and system optimization
-
Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies

Support business continuity and high-availability architecture initiatives

Maintain system security, user access controls, and auditing processes

Analyze technical issues and develop effective solutions to support business needs

Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams on enterprise IT projects

Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across the platform environment
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred

5+ years of hands-on experience supporting HPE NonStop (Tandem) systems
-
Experience with NonStop capacity planning, system monitoring, and performance tuning

Strong troubleshooting and systems analysis experience in enterprise environments

Knowledge of high-availability, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerant infrastructure

Strong understanding of operating systems, data stores, automation, and replication tools

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and leadership

Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards
