Job description
This position is for an Application Programmer responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications within Financial Crimes technology. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs while working closely with business partners to define system application requirements. The candidate will provide data-driven insights, assess technological impacts, and participate in the full development lifecycle of new capabilities., * Develop complex requirements, modify, and maintain applications to meet business goals.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document programs and support application maintenance.
- Collaborate with business partners to define requirements for system applications.
- Contribute to story refinement and estimate work necessary for requirement realization.
- Set up and automate continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Handle technical aspects of the application, including change management, maintenance, and platform upgrades.
- Develop innovative data provisioning models to support large-scale financial crimes data sourcing initiatives.
- Analyze present-state systems, develop future-state approaches, and facilitate implementation.
- Communicate effectively with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables and timelines.
Requirements
Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
Experience: Approximately 10 or more years of applicable experience is required. This includes experience in SDLC, Agile, and change management.
Technical Skills:

Teradata 16.x, SQL/BTEQ scripting, and TPT.

Informatica 10.x and ETL Tools.

UNIX Shell scripting and Autosys.

Cloudera CDP and Hadoop (Hive, Impala, PySpark, Scala).

CI/CD tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.

Data sourcing, data modeling, data analysis, and SQL performance tuning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business knowledge in financial domains related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Financial Crimes.
- Experience engaging with business stakeholders for requirement discovery.
Benefits & conditions
The anticipated pay range for this position is $60.00 to $65.06 per hour. Please note that the pay rate may be adjusted based on factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location. A comprehensive benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
