IT Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented IT Specialist to manage, monitor, and maintain the company's technology systems and infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring system security, operational efficiency, and appropriate use of company technology across all employees.

The ideal candidate is proactive, security-focused, and comfortable working with both technical systems and internal users in a professional business environment.

Duties

• Manage and maintain all company IT systems, hardware, software, and networks
• Monitor employee system activity to ensure compliance with company technology and security policies
• Set up, configure, and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
• Maintain cybersecurity protocols, including data protection, endpoint security, and system updates
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
• Oversee company devices (computers, phones, tablets, printers, etc.)
• Implement and maintain system monitoring, logging, and reporting tools
• Manage backups, disaster recovery processes, and system documentation
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees from a technology standpoint
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, confidentiality requirements, and applicable laws
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed

Do you have experience in System performance monitoring?, * Proven experience as an IT Specialist, Systems Administrator, or similar role

• Strong understanding of Windows and/or macOS environments
• Experience with user access management, system monitoring, and network security
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, email systems, and productivity tools
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data privacy principles
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities, * IT: 1 year (Preferred)
