Senior Quality Engineer - Data Analytics & AI

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with a strong focus on test automation to ensure high-quality software within a centrally developed, custom GenAI platform used across the enterprise.

Your Tasks

• Collaborate with development teams and product management to design, own and execute end-to-end tests for new features and platform components as well as release quality gates and readiness decisions
• Develop and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, API, UI) across React frontend and Python backend services
• Validate data pipelines, ML models, and AI-driven features to ensure expected functional behavior and output consistency
• Contribute to the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) and support test execution during deployments as well as the release process.
• Identify, document, and track defects; support teams in resolving issues and improving overall test coverage
• Support improving QA processes, test approaches, and documentation in collaboration with the broader QA and development team

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing, with a focus on test automation in cross-functional teams

• Solid programming skills in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience writing automated tests independently
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, pytest, unittest, REST API testing), as well as exploratory testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems (preferably Azure DevOps) and integrating automated tests into pipelines
• Experience testing cloud-based applications (preferably Azure), including APIs and distributed services; exposure to data or AI-related testing is a plus
• Experience with QA tools for defect tracking and documentationGood communication skills and proficiency in English and German
