Application Test Manager - Platform Migration (Contract)

You will bring deep technical testing expertise within complex, distributed environments ideally from front-office, trading, or market data systems and a proven ability to establish rigorous testing frameworks that ensure stability, performance, and readiness for production.

The role involves defining and enforcing the test strategy, coordinating end-to-end test execution across multiple application domains, and providing transparent quality metrics to programme leadership.

Experience Required:

• 10+ years' experience in software testing, QA, or test management within financial services or large-scale technology environments

• Proven track record leading complex application migration or modernisation programmes

• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing methodologies

• Hands-on experience with test governance, automation, and defect management (e.g. Jira, Confluence)

• Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working with engineering, release, and programme teams

• Ability to provide data-driven readiness assessments and quality reporting
