Operating within Capgemini's modern pod-based delivery model, you will act as a senior technical authority, owning the integrity, reliability, and evolution of cloud platforms in live service. You'll thrive at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and operations, while acting as a trusted advisor to clients undergoing significant cloud and digital transformation. As a Cloud Architect, you will thrive on having Design Authority for the relevant Service Line aligned to your expertise. You will enjoy being the focal point for ensuring its technical integrity. Being part of an enthusiastic Business Technologist community will enable you to maintain awareness of the latest technologies and innovations within the Capgemini Portfolio and apply these to your technology domains. You will also provide inspiration and act as a role model for a talented and enthusiastic team of Engineers in your Service Line.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your role
As a senior technical authority for cloud platform, you will contribute to both operational and project-based activities alongside fellow Consultants, Engineers, and Analysts. You will be empowered to:
- Own end-to-end delivery of cloud managed services, meeting SLAs, customer outcomes, and governing change and service acceptance.
- Provide technical leadership for the service line, ensuring architectural integrity, standards adherence, and effective governance.
- Define and maintain cloud blueprints, reference architectures, roadmaps, and lifecycle standards to ensure scalable and operable solutions.
- Drive platform reliability, performance, and optimisation through SRE principles, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a trusted advisor across clients and internal stakeholders, supporting live services, projects, bids, and mentoring engineers while ensuring security, compliance, and contractual alignment.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, * A proven track record of acting as a Cloud Architect within a Managed Services environment.
- Demonstrates experience operating as a Service Line Design Authority within large, complex managed services environments, including bids and transitions.
- Strong understanding of contracts, commercials, and stakeholder management, with proven ability to build client relationships.
- Proven platform engineering expertise across Azure (preferable) and/or AWS, delivering and operating production environments at scale.
- Advanced DevOps and cloud-native capabilities, including Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, GitHub, Kubernetes, and containerised workloads.
- Recognised technical leader who influences without authority, thriving in Agile, collaborative, product-aligned delivery environments.
