Job description
The developers who build with Beefree SDK tend to love it. The opportunity in front of us is closing the gap between the product we have and the awareness it deserves - especially as we build out new ways for customers to discover and adopt it for the first time.
We're looking for someone who loves translating complex technology into clear, credible, and exciting experiences for developers and technical users. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, marketing, and product, helping bring new features to life through code, documentation, and technical storytelling.
You will act as the technical expert within the Go-To-Market team, helping ensure that our messaging, content, and demos are both technically accurate and genuinely useful.
What you will do
Be the technical expert on the Beefree SDK Marketing team
- Act as the technical bridge between product, engineering, and marketing - and the community at large.
- Support marketers when campaigns, launches, or content require deeper technical expertise, and help us ensure that our marketing materials are always technically correct.
- Be an active, strategic voice in go-to-market planning. Contribute to launch and campaign planning to ensure our activities resonate deeply with the technical audience.
- Represent Beefree in developer communities (both online and offline)
Turn product updates into technical stories
- Build sample projects, demos, and code examples that show how features work in practice (and how they can make a difference for our customers and their end users)
- Collaborate with your marketing colleagues to create engaging technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, and video content (and any other content formats you might recommend to help us ensure that the Beefree SDK is easy to discover and easy to implement)
- Help produce demo environments or examples used in videos and presentations
Own our technical documentation
- Write and maintain developer documentation for new features and APIs
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure documentation is accurate and useful
- Monitor docs performance. Use quantitative and qualitative insights to improve the docs (and the overall developer experience)
Requirements
- You have a strong technical background. You might have worked as a software engineer (or in a similar technical role), or you've always been someone who builds, tinkers, and gets your hands dirty with code
- Explaining complex concepts clearly to different audiences is your superpower
- You have experience (and truly enjoy) creating technical content and tutorials. You're a passionate writer who knows how to use AI to speed up the process (and when a true human touch is needed)
- You are comfortable writing and sharing sample code across multiple languages, and can quickly pick up new ones as needed. You choose the right language and approach for the job. Here are some examples of what we offer to our customers today.
- You're a team player who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and marketing. You know how to bring different stakeholders together to get stuff done
- You thrive working autonomously in a remote environment. You manage your own projects end-to-end, communicate proactively across time zones, and don't need someone looking over your shoulder to keep your projects moving
- You care about impact, not just output. You understand how technical content and community work translate into business results - awareness, demand, pipeline, adoption - and you bring that lens to everything you create. You measure your work, share what you learn, and use it to get better.
- You're a great communicator with outstanding written and oral communication skills. You're either a native English speaker or have mastered the English language to a degree that most people can't tell that you're not (C1-C2 CEFR level-although we don't require a certification)
