Senior Manager, Web Development

As a Senior Manager, Web Development, you will lead the development and maintenance of the insightsoftware web platform built on a modern headless architecture using Astro, Storyblok, and Vercel. You will manage a team of two web developers, ensuring high-quality code delivery, mentoring junior developers, and fostering professional growth. You will partner closely with our conversion rate optimization team to integrate new web designs, collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product marketing, and demand generation stakeholders, and manage external agency and vendor relationships. You will also oversee the migration of web properties from legacy platforms to the modern stack, conduct technical feasibility audits for new design requests, enforce web accessibility standards, and champion UX/UI best practices across all web changes., * Manage a team of web developers and ensure their code meets company standards, industry best practices, and accessibility requirements.

• Mentor and develop junior developers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, product marketing, demand generation, and other departments to ensure the insightsoftware website represents the strategic goals of the company.
• Leverage TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML within the Astro framework to advance the development of the insightsoftware website.
• Build and maintain components and content models within Storyblok, our headless CMS, enabling content teams to publish and manage web content independently.
• Execute the seamless integration of new web designs across multiple pages and templates.
• Manage API integrations between the website and third-party services, marketing automation platforms, and internal systems.
• Diagnose and effectively resolve bugs and diverse web-related issues across the Astro/Storyblok/Vercel stack.
• Oversee the reception, prioritization, and processing of web requests from internal team members.
• Lead the migration of web properties from legacy platforms (including WordPress) to the modern headless architecture.
• Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
• Conduct technical audits of new design requests to evaluate feasibility, performance impact, and page load speed.
• Enforce web accessibility standards (WCAG) across all new and existing web pages.
• Champion UX/UI best practices in the implementation of all web changes and new features.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows through Vercel and Git-based version control.

Do you have experience in WCAG?, * 6-8 years of web development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Astro preferred).

• 2-4 years of management experience in the development space.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience working with headless CMS platforms (Storyblok preferred).
• Experience with static site generation (SSG) and server-side rendering (SSR) architectures.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD deployment pipelines (Vercel preferred).
• Experience building and managing API integrations with third-party services.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+).
• Experience migrating websites from legacy CMS platforms to modern web architectures.
• Extensive experience working within a marketing organization and developing web assets, designs, and resources for marketing purposes.
• Experience managing external agency and vendor relationships.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Astro specifically.
• Experience with Storyblok or similar headless CMS (Contentful, Sanity, etc.).
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Pardot, Marketo, etc.
• Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), etc.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Experience with component-based design systems and design tokens.Additional programming language fluency.

The salary range in United States of America for this position is 139,000.00 to 174,000.00 USD Annual.

Your specific offer within this range will be determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for a bonus. For sales roles, this range includes a commission target.
