IT Architect Principal - Remote / Telecommute

• Lead operational technology and cybersecurity architecture initiatives across enterprise manufacturing and industrial environments.
• Define and communicate operational technology target-state cybersecurity architectures aligned with enterprise security strategies.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to align operational technology architecture strategies with overall security roadmaps.
• Provide leadership and guidance for operational technology security analysis and architecture support activities.
• Design and implement secure operational technology architectures for visibility, segmentation, zoning, secure remote access, and conduit models aligned with industry standards.
• Develop and maintain secure reference architectures for manufacturing environments, remote access solutions, and operational technology security initiatives.
• Evaluate, select, and implement operational technology security technologies including monitoring, segmentation, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, identity security, and data protection solutions.
• Lead operational technology cybersecurity design reviews and define technical security requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams, system integrators, information technology teams, manufacturing technology teams, and cybersecurity teams.
• Translate cybersecurity requirements into scalable and implementable operational technology designs.
• Support operational technology cybersecurity initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, and greenfield manufacturing projects across domestic and international environments.
• Participate in operational technology tabletop exercises and security readiness activities.
• Align operational technology security architecture with industry frameworks and standards.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and strategic recommendations to leadership teams., * Lead operational technology security architecture strategy and design initiatives.

• 7 12 years of networking experience within operational technology or industrial control system environments.
• Experience with industrial networks, operational technology DMZ design, secure remote access, and monitoring platforms.
• Experience with network and security architecture design and segmentation strategies.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of operational technology and industrial control system cybersecurity architectures.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, segmentation, and operational technology networking concepts.
• Expertise with IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls.

• Familiarity with industry architectural frameworks.

Qualification And Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
