Job description
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician for a long-term contract opportunity in Seattle, WA. This is a highly visible, customer-facing IT support role supporting enterprise users in a fast-paced environment. The position offers strong potential for extension or full-time conversion and pays up to $29/hour.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365 technologies, hardware/software troubleshooting, and enterprise desktop support operations. Candidates with Mac support, SCCM, JAMF, networking, and security platform experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite desktop support for Windows and Mac users in an enterprise environment
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and peripheral issues
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration tools
- Manage and resolve support tickets within SLA guidelines
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and enterprise software
- Support laptop and desktop deployments, equipment moves, refreshes, and user migrations
- Assist with SCCM software deployments, patching, and policy distribution
- Troubleshoot VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, IP networking, and connectivity issues
- Support Active Directory account administration and user access issues
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for Level 1 and Level 2 technicians
- Perform file restorations and operating system recoveries
- Work on various IT projects and onsite support initiatives
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with end users at all levels
- Travel between local sites as needed (mileage reimbursed)
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in macOS?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * 3+ years of desktop support or EUC support experience in an enterprise environment
- Strong experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments
- Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 technologies
- Experience with SCCM software distribution and patch management
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
- Experience working within ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and end-user support experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Mac devices and JAMF
- Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, ADFS, and PKI
- Experience with CrowdStrike or enterprise security platforms
- Familiarity with BitLocker encryption
- Experience troubleshooting VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, and enterprise networking technologies
- Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or related certifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must be comfortable traveling between local office locations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented support environment
