Senior Software Engineer (WMS)

• Architectural Evolution: Partner with the Platform Architect to enhance our current WMS and design the next-generation warehouse platform.
• Modernize Infrastructure: Lead the migration of legacy functionality (Google Apps Script/Sheets) into a modern backend architecture using Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Full-Stack Development: Design and implement robust backend services, APIs, and integrations that power real-time inventory and order fulfillment.
• Operational Resilience: Improve system observability, logging, and monitoring to ensure the platform thrives during high-volume peaks.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Translate complex warehouse processes into scalable software and collaborate with nearshore developers to deliver high-quality features.
• Documentation & Mentorship: Document system architecture and technical workflows to reduce operational risk and improve maintainability across the team.

Do you have experience in Responsive design?, * Experience: 5+ years of experience building full-stack systems in production environments (GCP focus).

• The Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Node.js / TypeScript and PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, and query optimization).
• Modern Frontend: Demonstrated skill in building responsive web UIs with React optimized for various devices.
• Systems Expert: Proven track record of migrating legacy systems to modern stacks and working with event-driven architectures.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience with WMS, ERP applications, or fulfillment logistics is highly preferred.
• Data Fluency: Exposure to large datasets and modern data tools like BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Problem Solver: A "detective" mindset-the ability to identify architectural flaws and define technical needs even when requirements are vague.
