Job description
The client is seeking a highly skilled Internet/Web Architect to support enterprise-level web application development, system architecture, and infrastructure integration initiatives. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions using modern .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to deliver robust web-based systems within a highly secure, compliance-driven government environment. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise web architecture aligned with business and technical requirements
- Translate functional requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable web solutions
- Develop and maintain applications using C#,
MVC, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery * Ensure seamless integration with existing systems, databases, and enterprise infrastructure
- Work with SQL Server, Oracle databases, and Microsoft Azure environments
- Participate in full SDLC activities including design, development, testing, and deployment
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards, best practices, and security guidelines
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and operations teams
- Follow Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies for project delivery

Requirements
- 5 7+ years of experience in IT with a focus on web architecture and application development
- Strong expertise in C#.NET,
MVC, and enterprise application design * Proficiency in SQL Server and experience with Oracle databases
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Strong front-end development experience with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive design
- Experience with Visual Studio (2012 or later)
- Solid understanding of system integration across multi-platform environments
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall SDLC environments
- Proven experience as a technical lead or subject matter expert (SME)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Familiarity with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Prior experience working with government or public sector clients
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks
