Pump Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Application Engineer to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting both our sales and technical teams, acting as a key resource in solving complex pump-related challenges and providing expert technical guidance to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and the ability to work closely with the sales team, ensuring seamless communication between our technical capabilities and customer requirements., * Provide on-site troubleshooting for pump-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical challenges.

• Assist the sales team with high-level technical questions, acting as the go-to expert for detailed product knowledge and application-specific advice.
• Assess and respond to inbound technical inquiries, including reviewing system specifications and recommending suitable pump solutions.
• Prepare detailed quotes and pump performance curves based on client needs and system requirements.
• Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure that proposed solutions meet the customer's application and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with sales to understand customer pain points, create tailored solutions, and assist in closing deals through technical expertise.
• Participate in customer site visits, pump installations, and performance assessments as needed.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of company products and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
• Ability to present via powerpoint and teams as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in an industrial or application engineering role, preferably within the pump or fluid handling industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of pump systems and hydraulics.
• Experience in troubleshooting pump installations and performance issues.
• Ability to create and interpret pump curves, quotes, and other technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
• Willingness to travel as needed for on-site troubleshooting and client support.
