Job description
The SAP-BRIM -Team Lead supervises cross-functional delivery teams implementing SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) and SAP S/4HANA capabilities. The role coordinates day-to-day execution, sets technical direction with architects/SMEs, and ensures quality, security, and compliance across BRIM modules-Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and Convergent Charging (CC)-and integrated systems (CRM, payment gateways, mediation). The Team Lead manages workload, coaches staff, and maintains audit-ready documentation aligned with Commonwealth standards., Delivery Leadership Coordinate sprint/iteration work, assign tasks, and ensure commitments are met across SOM/CI/CC workstreams. Enforce SAP best practices to minimize customization; support Fiori enablement for end users. Technical Guidance & Integration Partner with Integration Architect to design API/OData/IDoc/RFC solutions on SAP BTP/CPI. Oversee code reviews, configuration quality, and interface reliability for high volume transactions. Quality Assurance & Testing Ensure SIT/UAT plans, test evidence, and defect triage are complete and traceable in ADO/JIRA. Drive performance tuning (HANA, CI, CC) and nonfunctional testing as needed. Compliance & Security Ensure adherence to PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2, and Commonwealth IT security protocols (tokenization, encryption, RBAC). Maintain audit ready artifacts: designs, specs, test results, change logs, and lessons learned. Data Migration & Cutover Lead team activities for migration scripts, delta loads, reconciliation checks, and dress rehearsals. Coordinate go live readiness and post cutover stabilization. Stakeholder & People Management Communicate status, risks, and mitigations to PM/PO and sponsors; manage dependencies. Coach and mentor developers/analysts; facilitate knowledge transfer and training materials. Operations & Support Collaborate with ServiceNow teams for incident/change management; ensure support runbooks are complete. Monitor SLAs and service credits; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years in enterprise software delivery, including 3+ years leading teams on SAP implementations. Hands-on experience with SAP BRIM (SOM, CI, CC) and SAP S/4HANA integrations. Proficiency in ABAP/SAPUI5 or integration tooling (SAP CPI/BTP), and ADO/JIRA for work management. Deep understanding of PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2, secure payment flows, and audit requirements. Experience with data migration, cutover planning, and performance optimization (HANA/CI/CC). Preferred Skills: SAP BRIM/S/4HANA certifications; leadership training/certifications (e.g., SAFe Team Lead). Knowledge of SAP BTP services (API Management, Event Mesh) and Fiori enablement. Experience with ServiceNow operations, SLA governance, and incident/problem management. Strong coaching, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication skills. Hybrid Agile delivery experience; ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
