Job description
At Community Resources for Independence (CRI), we empower individuals with disabilities to live independently and with dignity. Technology plays a critical role in supporting our staff, programs, and mission across multiple locations.
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Systems Administrator so support and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure and provide technical support to staff throughout the agency.
This position is the ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of:
- Systems administration
- Network support
- Help desk troubleshooting
- Hands-on technical work
- Project-based IT improvements
This is an onsite, hands-on IT position that requires regular in-person support throughout CRI locations. This is not a remote position., Systems & Network Administration
- Support and maintain servers, networks, VPNs, wireless systems, and telecommunications equipment
- Monitor system performance, reliability, backups, and security
- Assist with cybersecurity protections, system updates, and access management
- Help maintain disaster recovery and business continuity procedures
- Configure and maintain user accounts, permissions, and device access
Technical Support & Help Desk
- Provide timely technical support to staff across multiple office locations
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, network, and connectivity issues
- Install, configure, and deploy PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and other equipment
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding technology setup for employees
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and technology assets
Infrastructure & Projects
- Assist with system upgrades, hardware rollouts, and technology projects
- Support office network infrastructure including switches, wireless access points, and cabling
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed

Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of IT support, systems administration, or network administration experience
- Experience with :
- Windows environments
- Active Directory/User account management
- Network troubleshooting
- Hardware and software deployment
- VPNs and wireless networking
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare, human services, non-profit, or government-funded environments.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Experience supporting remote or multiple location environments
- Knowledge of adaptive computer access technologies for individuals with disabilities.
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Ability to install and move computer equipment and related technology
- Occasional lifting, bending. Climbing stairs, and extended standing
- Occasional travel and potential overnight stays
