Job description
- Translate user requirements, clinical insights, and risk mitigations into elegant and effective UI solutions.
- Ensure build consistency through patterns, style guides, and collaboration with design system owners.
- Partner with Human Factors Engineering to integrate IEC 62366 and FDA usability requirements into the UI/UX workflow.
- Support formative studies, heuristic evaluations, use-error analyses, and simulated-use testing.
- Analyze study results and recommend build changes to improve safety, workflow alignment, and user happiness.
- Contribute to user interface-related risk analysis (e.g., UFMEA, task analysis, use-related hazard identification).
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in UX/HCI, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years UI/UX experience, reuglated industry preferred.
- Strong UX portfolio showing interaction design, visual design, and complex workflows.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Axure
- Experience with embedded/touchscreen interfaces or connected device ecosystems
