Stellar Marine is seeking a detail-oriented receptionist to join our team in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential for supporting the Service Manger and technicians. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and facilitating efficient communication between departments., * Front Desk Management: Greet and assist customers as they arrive, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- Answer Incoming Calls: Handle routine and inquiry calls, providing information about our services, scheduling appointments, and routing calls to appropriate personnel.
- Communicate with Service Team: Relay customer requests and requirements to Service Writers and the Service Manager efficiently to ensure timely service delivery.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage service appointments, ensuring optimal use of service bays and resources.
- Customer Follow-Up: Contact customers to confirm service appointments, additional service repairs and estimates.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and appointments.
- Administrative Support: Perform various clerical tasks such as inventory management, filing, data entry, and document preparation to support the service department.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Service writing?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office or service writing or related field is a plus. Lightspeed software experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using office equipment (computers, phones, copiers) and standard software (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
- Familiarity with the boating industry, boat maintenance, or personal watercraft is advantageous but not required.
