Job description

The Client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Modern Workplace Consultant to join our innovative IT consulting team. This role focuses on delivering cutting-edge solutions using Microsoft Intune, Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), and Microsoft Defender to empower our clients with secure, scalable, and efficient workplace environments. As a consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions to drive digital transformation for our clients., * Solution Architecture: Design and implement tailored Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender solutions to meet client-specific requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure.

  • Device Management: Configure and manage mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) policies using Microsoft Intune to secure endpoints across Windows, iOS, and Android platforms.
  • Identity Management: Deploy and manage Entra ID for identity governance, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and conditional access policies to enhance security and streamline user access.
  • Security Implementation: Leverage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Cloud, and Identity to protect client environments from advanced threats, ensuring robust security and compliance.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to assess their needs, provide expert recommendations on Microsoft 365 capabilities, and guide them through modern workplace transformation strategies.
  • Compliance and Governance: Develop and enforce compliance policies, including data loss prevention (DLP) and information protection, to align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Support: Deliver training sessions for client IT teams and end-users on Microsoft Modern Workplace tools, and provide ongoing support for troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and user manuals, to support solution deployments and knowledge transfer.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates, new features, and industry trends to deliver innovative and future-proof solutions.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in IT consulting or systems administration, with at least 2 years specializing in Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Technical Skills:
  • In-depth expertise in Microsoft Intune for device and application management.
  • Proficiency in Entra ID for identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, and conditional access policies.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender suite (Endpoint, Cloud, Identity) for threat protection and incident response.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration tasks.
  • Certifications (preferred):
  • Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
  • Microsoft Certified
  • Soft Skills: o Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. o Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and migrations to Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Purview for compliance and data governance.
  • Familiarity with additional Microsoft security tools, such as Azure Sentinel or Microsoft 365 Security Center.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale enterprise deployments.
