Job description

A large financial services company is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join their team! The ideal candidate will develop software solutions based on written requirements and technical specifications. Responsibilities include analyzing and fixing client-reported issues, performing software maintenance, conducting unit tests, and documenting results. The candidate will also propose solutions for defects found during testing. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will be 4 days a week onsite (Mon-Thurs) in Texas (Austin or Southlake). This position will start as a 12-month contract with very likely possibility extend or possibility convert. Requirements

3-5+ years of Salesforce development experience

Proven track record of leading Salesforce projects

Skilled in Salesforce Configuration, Workflow, Triggers, Visualforce, Apex, and Batch processing

Experience with Salesforce Lightning UI

Expertise in integrating Salesforce with backend systems (both synchronous and asynchronous)

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools Experience analyzing and improving platform architecture

Ability to recommend best practices for Salesforce design

Experience with application change impact analysis

Willingness to handle on-call duties and support production systems 24/7

Experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC) or Service Cloud, particularly telephone/CTI integration
