Job description
Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. is seeking an Associate, Cybersecurity Engineer in New York, NY to create, monitor, and report key cybersecurity performance indicators and metrics. Leverage industry standards and frameworks to create a comprehensive set of cyber metrics to measure the effectiveness and coverage of the cyber program. Prepare comprehensive reports on cybersecurity metrics, tailored for executive-level review and strategic decision-making. Use Decision Science and Statistics methods to measure the cyber defense posture of the enterprise and create accurate and actionable insights to reducing risk for the enterprise.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field of study.

Requires two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as a Cybersecurity Analyst, Cyber Risk Analyst, or a closely related occupation.

Requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills:

Decision Science and Statistics;

creating new cybersecurity metrics measuring effectiveness and coverage of a cybersecurity defense program;

Python and Prefect;
-
cybersecurity frameworks including CRI Profile, MITRE ATT&CK Framework, and cyber pathways;

collaborating with senior leadership and maintaining stakeholder relationships;

tools including Splunk, Elastic, and Jira;

Data visualization tools including PowerBI; and
-
writing reports and presenting findings.
Benefits & conditions
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $107,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
