Job description

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with printers, kiosks, and POS systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
  • Perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance.
  • Deliver clear technical assistance to customers onsite and over the phone.
  • Maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards.

Role Overview: As a Field Technician, you will serve as the primary onsite contact for technical and service-related issues. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing, and repairing laser printers, wide-format printers, kiosks, POS systems, and related hardware/software. Collaboration with Level II or Lead Technicians may be required to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.

Must-Have Skills:

Hardware repair & break-fix (Laser printers, plotters, formatter)

  • PC/POS support experience
  • Primarily field technician work being dispatched to customer sites. IT Field Technician I tasks include driving to client sites and providing general IT support to multiple customers (retailers, banks, etc.), running break-fix and IMAC calls, and supporting clients.
  • The level of support will vary depending on the customer but will include printer, laptop, server, network, and other technology devices.
  • We are looking for an experienced Laser Printer Technician with hands-on experience working with Lexmark, HP, Plotter, and Formatter printers and with strong break-fix, hardware repair, and OEM service experience., * Strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.
  • Physical capability to lift to 50 lbs.Location
