Job description

As an experienced IT operations leader, you will take ownership of business-critical technology services across the organisation.

The successful person will be a visible and approachable leader who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on IT operational management. You'll be comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders, leading technical teams, and ensuring a consistently high-level of service across the organisation.

This opportunity would suit someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently manage both day-to-day operational issues and longer-term improvement projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing an IT support and infrastructure team
  • Overseeing infrastructure, networks, security, hardware, and end-user technology services
  • Ensuring high levels of system availability, reliability, and user satisfaction
  • Managing support for devices, connectivity, printers, collaboration tools, and business systems
  • Acting as the key IT contact for business stakeholders and external partners
  • Building strong relationships with vendors and internal teams
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational Best Practice
  • Managing and improving support processes, SLAs, and operational performance metrics
  • Managing budgets, resources, and IT governance requirements
  • Driving service excellence and resolving escalated technical issues when needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading IT operations or infrastructure teams
  • Experience of working within a broad enterprise technology environment covering Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory/Azure AD, virtualised infrastructure, enterprise networking, cyber security, endpoint management, cloud collaboration tools, mobile device management, and IT service management platforms.
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working within complex technology environments
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on service quality and continuous improvement
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Experience managing suppliers, third parties, and service delivery
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • A calm and practical approach to problem-solving and escalation management

Why apply?

This is an opportunity to join a well-established business in a highly visible leadership role where you can influence IT operations, improve user experience, and help shape future technology services across the region.

If you enjoy combining leadership, operational delivery, and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
