AWS Cloud Migration Consultant

Remote | Immediate Start | Inside IR35 | Initial 3-6 Month ContractWe are currently seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Migration Consultant to support a major cloud transformation programme for a Local Government client.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in migrating critical services and infrastructure into AWS within a complex public sector environment, with a strong focus on AWS networking, governance, and FinOps best practices., Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support AWS cloud migration activities across infrastructure and applicationsAssess existing on-premise environments and design migration strategiesDeliver migration planning, execution, optimisation, and post-migration supportDesign and implement secure AWS networking solutions across hybrid cloud environmentsSupport AWS cost optimisation initiatives and FinOps governanceWork closely with technical teams, architects, and business stakeholders across the programmeImplement AWS best practices around security, networking, governance, resilience, and scalabilitySupport automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives using Terraform/CloudFormationEnsure smooth transition and minimal disruption to business-critical services
