Job description

Insight Global is looking for a full-time Lead Salesforce & AWS Developer to support a large healthcare end client. This role will serve as a technical lead over two international developers while remaining heavily hands-on in day-to-day development work.

The environment includes highly customized, homegrown applications where Salesforce acts as the system of record and AWS is used to process and distribute data to external systems, state agencies, and mobile applications. While other developers will focus on ticket-based work, this role is responsible for technical leadership, solution design, prioritization, and mentoring, while still contributing directly to development efforts.

This position will work closely with Kirk and other engineering managers as part of a broader technology organization. The ideal candidate has prior leadership experience, deep technical expertise across Salesforce and AWS, and is comfortable balancing hands-on coding with ownership of team direction and delivery. Approximately 80% of the role is hands-on development.

Requirements

Prior experience leading or mentoring developers in a technical role

-5-7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience

-Salesforce technical expertise including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, Lightning Applications, SOQL, SOSL, Aura Framework

-Experience with Salesforce custom objects, validation rules, workflows, reports, dashboards, analytic snapshots

-Salesforce development experience including Apex classes, controllers, triggers, web services, SFDX command line

-Ability to perform Salesforce admin functions when needed

-Strong AWS development experience

-AWS technical skills including Node.js, Lambda, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, IAM roles and policies, Secrets Manager, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Route 53

-Experience with REST APIs, command line utilities, build and deployment pipelines, application security

-AWS platform knowledge including regions, availability zones, CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail

-Experience with CloudFormation, SAM build and deploy

-Ability to lead development across large systems with multiple active projects

-Comfortable owning architecture decisions, guiding other developers, and contributing code immediately -Healthcare industry experience

-React.js, Amplify, Groovy

-EventBridge exposure

-Experience supporting mobile application integrations

-Background in highly customized, homegrown enterprise systems

Benefits & conditions

Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 base salary

Exact compensation may vary based on factors including location, skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additional paid time off and leave benefits are provided in accordance with applicable laws.
