Job description
We are seeking a hands-on HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) Engineer with strong expertise in dSPACE systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and validating real-time simulation environments to support ECU and embedded software testing., * Develop, modify, and maintain HiL simulation models using MATLAB/Simulink
- Configure and integrate dSPACE HiL platforms (SCALEXIO, MicroAutoBox)
- Perform system-level validation and ECU testing in HiL environments
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python, ControlDesk, and AutomationDesk
- Design and support wiring, harness, and I/O interface setups for HiL benches
- Create and maintain ControlDesk dashboards and test interfaces
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across hardware, software, and communication layers
- Collaborate with software, controls, and validation teams for system integration
- Optimize real-time simulation performance and system tuning
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with dSPACE tools (ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, ConfigurationDesk)
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and simulation
- Experience in HiL system setup and ECU validation
- Programming knowledge in Python, C, or C++ for automation
- Understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Experience with real-time systems and embedded software validation, * Experience in automotive domain (OEM or Tier-1 suppliers)
- Familiarity with system integration and calibration workflows
- Knowledge of EV/Hybrid systems is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, or related engineering field
