Job description
I'm partnering with a a great firm in Boston looking to bring on a Vice President of Data & AI - a true strategic leader who will own the firm's data vision end-to-end.
This will be an executive level role. You'll sit alongside the C-suite and business leaders, shaping how data, automation, and AI directly drive business outcomes.
???? What You'll Own
- Build a single source of truth across platforms like MRI, Salesforce, Anaplan, and more
- Architect a modern data lake + BI ecosystem (Power BI, etc.)
- Drive automation initiatives across finance and operations
- Lead the firm's evolution from ad hoc AI usage to embedded, workflow-driven AI solutions
- Partner with executives to turn data into real strategic decisions
???? Impact Areas
- AI-driven tenant communications, lease management, and portfolio insights
- Automation of AP/AR and other high-volume workflows
- Data-driven transformation across marketing, HR, legal, and operations
Requirements
- 10+ years in data/analytics leadership (with senior leadership experience)
- Proven track record building or transforming data functions
- Deep expertise across data architecture, BI, cloud, and AI/ML
- Strong ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
- A builder mindset - someone excited to create, not just maintain
