Data Security Engineer

• Support implementation and ongoing operations of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) platforms across enterprise environments
• Onboard and integrate data sources across on-premises and cloud platforms
• Maintain and optimize integrations supporting data discovery, classification, and policy enforcement
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve platform stability and performance
• Monitor DSPM system health and resolve operational incidents in a timely manner
• Support implementation of enhancements, updates, and operational improvements across DSPM tooling
• Assist in identifying and addressing data security risks and compliance gaps
• Contribute to operational documentation, reporting, dashboards, and security metrics
• Support scaling of DSPM capabilities across hybrid enterprise environments
• Ensure alignment with enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards

The ideal candidate has strong experience in data security, cloud platforms, and enterprise integrations, with the ability to support large-scale environments and collaborate across infrastructure, security, and engineering teams., * 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data security, or data engineering roles

• Strong experience with:

• Data discovery and classification
• Data security controls and governance
• Enterprise-scale security tooling and integrations

• Strong understanding of:

• Modern data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, distributed systems)
• Structured and unstructured data environments
• Regulatory and compliance frameworks (PCI, PII, or similar)

• Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as:

• Data catalog solutions
• ITAM / CMDB systems
• SIEM / SOAR or security analytics platforms

• Strong experience with:

• APIs and REST-based integration patterns
• Python scripting or automation
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in enterprise environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DSPM platforms or enterprise data governance tools
• Familiarity with cloud-native security and monitoring architectures
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
• Understanding of security operations and incident response processes
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
