Job description

Join us as a Cloud Systems Engineer where you'll drive innovation and efficiency in cloud infrastructure, contributing to the growth and maintenance of advanced systems both in the cloud and on-premises. This is a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology and support a dynamic environment. Responsibilities

  • Design and automate infrastructure configurations to enhance provisioning and deployment processes.
  • Maintain and secure complex cloud environments on platforms such as Oracle and Azure.
  • Support system upgrades and improvements to ensure optimized performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and design systems architecture.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to offer expert support for complex systems and applications.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing Linux and Windows servers across Bare Metal, ESX, and Cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of Windows/Linux fundamentals, including system logs and debugging tools.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware ESX/ESXi and Vcenter.
  • Proficiency with public cloud platforms and automation technologies, such as Chef and Terraform.
  • Ability to script using languages like Bash, Python, Ruby, or Perl.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with warehouse automation technologies and real-time systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios or New-Relic, and streaming services like Kafka.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux Containers.
