Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise payment systems and modern cloud-based architectures. This role will focus on the development and delivery of large-scale payment solutions within complex financial services environments., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable payment applications using Java and microservices architectures

• Deliver robust solutions within cloud-native environments
• Work with event-driven and asynchronous messaging systems
• Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of payment processing frameworks
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Support integration and delivery across complex enterprise environments

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 11, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures
• Proven experience working within AWS cloud environments
• Solid knowledge of Apache Kafka and asynchronous/event-driven messaging
• Strong understanding of ISO 20022 payments standards, payment types, and schemes
• 5-10 years of experience as a Java Engineer or Software Engineer
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience implementing enterprise payment frameworks within banking or financial services environments
• Experience delivering solutions in large-scale financial or banking organisations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable

• Experience working on high-volume, mission-critical payment platforms
• Knowledge of modern DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Experience operating within Agile delivery environments
