Your tasks at sovanta

• You will support our Data Scientists* in implementing small PoCs as well as complex customer projects
• You will contribute to exciting tasks in the fields of Data Science and Machine Learning
• You will be involved in innovative customer projects and work with the latest technologies (e.g. LLMs & agents)
• You will research, evaluate, and integrate state-of-the-art ML models and techniques
• You will train and optimize your own task-specific models
• You will support projects throughout the entire development lifecycle: from requirements analysis and design to development, documentation, and deployment

• You are studying Data Science, Web Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field, and have excellent grades
• You are motivated and available to support our team for at least 14 hours per week
• You can demonstrate solid foundational knowledge of methods and tools in the field of Data Science
• You already have experience with Python, specifically with Pandas/Polars, Scikit-Learn, and Matplotlib
• You already have initial experience using LLMs, especially in the context of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agents, and similar approaches
• You are passionate about working with large datasets and databases
• You are characterized by a creative approach to the increasingly complex business and IT landscape
• Good German and English language skills complete your profile
