Job description

The Digital Enablement Analyst will play a key role in supporting the rollout of digital solutions across the finance streams, with a primary focus on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using UiPath and the progressive adoption of AI-enabled and agentic solutions. As part of the new Digital Enablement Team, this role will assist/coach the GFS Hub to identify, design, build, deploy, and support automation opportunities that improve control, efficiency, scalability, and user experience across finance processes. The role requires a strong foundation in UiPath development, combined with business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and working knowledge of Python to support integrations, data handling, automation utilities and future AI use cases. The successful candidate will help the finance streams move beyond traditional automation toward more intelligent, well-governed solutions that combine robots, AI, and human oversight., + Work with the finance streams to help identify, assess feasibility, and prioritise automation opportunities across finance processes, working with stakeholders to understand pain points, risks, controls, and improvement opportunities.

  • Ensuring that the pipeline aligns with broader automation goals.
  • Assist/ coach GFS Hub to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain UiPath automations for finance processes, ensuring robust exception handling, reusability, and production stability.
  • Support end-to-end delivery of automation solutions, including requirements gathering, process mapping, workflow design, user testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Produce and maintain clear technical and functional documentation, including process design documents, solution design documents, and support materials.
  • Contribute to automation standards and best practices, including development approaches, testing standards, version control, and reusable component design. Assist delivering guidance and coaching to GFS Hub team and Finance streams in these areas.
  • Help establish practical governance for AI-enabled solutions by supporting controls such as logging, monitoring, access management, human-in-the-loop approval steps, and auditability.
  • Support the team's transition from traditional automation toward AI-enabled and agentic solutions, helping to identify use cases where AI agents, robots, and people can work together effectively.
  • Work with IT, data, risk, and business stakeholders to ensure digital solutions are secure, supportable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Support continuous improvement across the Digital Enablement Team by sharing knowledge, improving reusable assets, and staying current with developments in automation, UiPath, and AI.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience in UiPath development is essential, including the design, build, test, deployment, and support of automations in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of RPA engineering practices such as exception handling, reusable workflow design, documentation, testing, change control, and production support.
  • Ability to translate business requirements and operational issues into practical digital solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Working knowledge of Python is strongly preferred, with the ability to use it for data handling, integrations, automation utilities, and supporting future AI use cases.
  • Understanding of APIs, JSON, and data structures, with SQL or database knowledge is considered an advantage.
  • Interest in, or exposure to, AI, machine learning, or agentic AI concepts, particularly in an enterprise or operational context.
  • Awareness of the governance requirements for AI-enabled solutions, including human oversight, traceability, access control, and safe deployment practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with a structured and delivery-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to manage priorities independently, while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required. Additional languages would be an advantage.
