As part of the growing challenges in vehicle development and simulation, the PWTi Thermal Management team is opening an apprenticeship position (1 to 3 years) for a Test and Validation Engineer.
You will join a passionate, multidisciplinary team responsible for the development, performance optimization, and validation of thermal management systems. Our engineers work across mechanics, electrical systems, control, testing, and simulation - always with a hands-on mindset and strong technical collaboration.
This is not a "sit-and-watch" role. From day one, you will be involved in real engineering projects, interacting with both vehicles and test benches, in a dynamic and supportive environment that encourages curiosity, initiative, and innovation.
Your Missions
Physical measurements & analysis
Participate in test campaigns on benches and vehicles to validate subsystem performance(pressure, flow, temperature, etc.).
Development & test benches
Contribute to the deployment and continuous improvement of a hydraulic measurement test bench.
Field work & vehicle preparation
Work closely with workshop teams to prepare vehicles for testing.Follow instrumentation, setup, troubleshooting, and technical updates.
Continuous improvement
Help improve validation methods, tools, and testing processes.
Numerical simulation (a strong plus)
Use or analyze simulation models such as MATLAB/Simulink, GT-SUITE, or StarCCM to predict and optimize system behavior.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Simulink?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Engineering student (Master's level / Bac+5) or equivalent university program, specializing in:
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or Embedded Systems.
Mindset & Soft Skills
Curious, motivated, and eager to learn by doing
Able to work independently while enjoying teamwork
Organized and rigorous when dealing with test planning and data
Comfortable with hands-on work and field activities
Strong communication skills and ability to write clear engineering reports in English
Technical Interests
Strong interest in physical measurements, testing, and simulation
Sensitivity to measurement quality (calibration, sensor choice, accuracy, etc.)
English: able to read, write, and participate in meetings

Conditions
