Job description

This role is a blend of development, application support, and Legacy system maintenance. Approximately 30-50% of the role will involve supporting and enhancing existing Legacy applications, with the remainder focused on development and technical improvement initiatives. This is not a purely greenfield or 100% development role.

We are looking for someone with strong experience across Server Side and desktop .NET technologies, along with advanced expertise in Microsoft Access and SQL Server, which will be key priority areas for the position.

The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable developing new functionality, maintaining Legacy systems, and providing technical troubleshooting and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, and enhance Legacy business applications
  • Develop and maintain desktop and web-based .NET applications
  • Work extensively with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and database integrations
  • Support and develop solutions involving Microsoft Access and advanced VBA
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide end-user support
  • Maintain integrations with Oracle and Legacy systems
  • Support deployment, automation, and CI/CD processes
  • Work with document generation and transformation technologies
  • Collaborate across technical and business teams to support operational systems
