Requirements
As an experienced Oracle Engineer, you will work with cross-functional, agile teams to develop, deliver and support financial systems for high profile clients across EMEA. You will have the ability to interpret written business requirements or user stories, participate in user story refinement and sprint planning, and carry out tasks such as writing lean technical specifications and maintain existing document templates.
You'll play a pivotal role in growing and shaping our Oracle function and driving the migration of Oracle forms to Apex. Whether you consider your strengths to lie in development or production support, you'll help support the growth and development of junior colleagues by guiding them through problem resolution and act as a mentor. You will be enthusiastic about producing quality products and fix defects where appropriate.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proven experience working as an Oracle Engineer, with demonstrable knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
- Ability to create complex SQL statements, and analyse data and modelling data structures
- Experience working with Oracle database 12c and above
- Experience working with modern tooling e.g. GIT, Jenkins, Jira, Docker and Confluence
- Experience in Oracle Forms/Reports development would be advantageous
- Experience in Apex development and the migration of Oracle forms to Apex would be advantageous
- Experience of automated PL/SQL testing would be advantageous

Salary: up to £55,000 depending on experience + up to 20% annual bonus + benefits
