Junior Technology Adoption Consultant, People Transformation, Defence & Security

Our Human Centred Transformation offering provides clients with the support that they need in their business transformation and technology programmes. Technology adoption consultants are responsible for developing and implementing business change strategies that help users to adopt new technologies solutions. We need the very best people to join us and strengthen our team. That is where you come in!

Within the role you will have responsibility for bringing your sector and technical expertise along with broader consulting skills to:

1. Assist in understanding how the organisation can gain value from its technology investments.

2. Support senior colleagues in working with stakeholders to ensure technology usage aligns with organisational goals.

3. Support across all stages of the GDS development lifecycle, in particular user research in Discovery, addressing adoption barriers, embedding user-centric design in Alpha, and creating adoption strategies like training, communication, and pilots. In Beta, gathering feedback on usability and adoption. In Live, monitoring adoption, user satisfaction, value realisation, collecting feedback, and driving continuous improvement for seamless integration and benefits.

4. Contribute to the development and execution of work plans for implementing new technology solutions.

5. Assist in delivering training and providing basic support to employees to help with the adoption and usage of new technology.

6. Gather user feedback, collect data and report on the success of technology adoption processes.

7. Support assessments of the organisation's current technology usage and contribute to identifying areas for improvement.

8. Stay informed about best practices, capabilities, and uses of technology to support effective solutions.

9. Collaborate with team members and support interactions with various stakeholders, both internally within Deloitte and in client organisations.

10. Support business development by contributing to new business proposals and taking roles in industry and account teams

11. Contribute to internal practice development by participating in proposition, methodology and point of view development activities and supporting knowledge capture.

We are currently looking for candidates with proven ability to apply knowledge and expertise in a range of client scenarios, focusing on high quality even in high pressured, time critical situations, and with skills across the following areas:

Technology Adoption

• Experience in change management; including leadership alignment, stakeholder identification and analysis, detailed change impact assessment, end-user training, and developing and executing organisational change management plans
• Experience planning training programmes for technology adoption
• Strong facilitation, communication and data analysis skills
• Experience of managing client relationships, including previous consulting experience
• Strong end-user interaction skills, and ability to build working relationships with diverse and cross functional teams
• Ability to handle multiple, conflicting deadlines without compromising on quality
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and remain detail orientated
• Experience of leading business development activity in the technology adoption space
