Bench IT are looking to onboard a Junior Support Engineer/L1.5 Engineer to support a global financial services organisation. This position would be ideal for a motivated candidate seeking to develop their career within the IT sector who has a strong desire to learn and develop their skills.
The successful candidate should have the skills and experience included below;
- Experience in IT support or relevant internship Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience - Ideal experience would be 2-3 years
- Respond to IT service desk tickets
- Assist users via phone, email, or in-person
- Set up and maintain computers and peripherals
- Manage user accounts and passwords
- Support software installations and updates
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Desirable skills/technology the client will provide training on;
- Proficient with Operating Systems (Windows 11/Windows Server) Microsoft 365: Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint & Integrated Apps Active Directory Users &
