Job description

As a System Administrator at CyberPoint, you will provide advanced system administration support for mission-critical infrastructure in a high-performance, secure environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining system stability, optimizing performance and resolving complex technical issues across a diverse technology stack.

This role requires deep expertise in virtualization and operating systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system integration challenges. You'll play a key role in ensuring system reliability and supporting mission continuity on a fast-paced, evolving program.

What You'll Do

  • Configure, manage and maintain Linux, UNIX and Windows operating systems
  • Administer and support virtualized environments using VMware
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues related to server hardware, software and system integration
  • Install, configure and maintain operating system software and system applications
  • Troubleshoot system performance issues and implement enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency
  • Maintain system integrity, availability and security across infrastructure environments
  • Configure and support network components as part of a system administration responsibilities
  • Monitor system health and proactively identify and mitigate risks
  • Support system upgrades, patches and lifecycle management activities
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support mission requirements

Requirements

What You'll Need

  • US Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • IAT Level II Certification (eg Security+ CE or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience with:
  • VMware virtualization technologies
  • Linux/UNIX system administration
  • Experience administering Windows operating systems in enterprise environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and system integration issues
  • Experience installing, configuring and maintaining operating systems and system software
  • Ability to manage and configure network components in support of system operations
  • Experience implementing system enhancements to improve performance and reliability

  • Experience in high-security or mission-critical environments
  • Strong background in performance tuning and system optimization
  • Experience with automation and scripting for system administration tasks
  • Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and logging tools
  • Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex, multi-layered technical issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams
