Job description

We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy IT Field Technician to provide onsite support and repair services for Dell / Lenovo laptops and related hardware. This role requires travel to customer locations to perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, hardware replacement, and software support. Ideal for candidates with flexible schedules and a background in IT support or computer hardware repair., * Travel to client sites to service Dell / Lenovo laptops and peripheral devices.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues.
  • Perform part replacements (motherboards, screens, hard drives, etc.).
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems and drivers.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service reports.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical details in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Adhere to service standards and protocols.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned service tickets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or IT certifications preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or hardware repair
  • A+ Certification or Dell certification (preferred but not required).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop / laptop hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport laptops and small equipment (up to 25 lbs).
