Job description
- Manage the full Omnissa (VMware) Horizon stack, including Connection Servers, Unified Access Gateways (UAG), and Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM).
- Administer the virtualization environment (VMware vSphere/ESXi) and hardware infrastructure using HP ProLiant servers and iLO management.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks, user provisioning in Active Directory, and system health reporting.
- Manage core Windows Server services, including AD DS, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, DFS, and SQL Server database environments.
- Administer the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune (MDM), and Conditional Access policies.
- Maintain enterprise storage (NetApp) connectivity via iSCSI/MPIO and manage the high-availability 'safety net' using Commvault backup systems.
- Configure and support secure remote access gateways and thin-client operating systems like Stratodesk.
- Utilize operational monitoring tools (PRTG, Mezmo/LogDNA) and security platforms (Okta, Cisco Secure Endpoint) to ensure 24/7 system health.
- Execute server patch management (WSUS/MECM) and maintain standardized IT security policies across the organization.
- Provide on-call support on a rotating basis and assist with technical documentation and architecture design recommendations.
Requirements
This is a full-time, on-site position based out of the Raleigh, NC office. We are seeking a Systems Administrator with 3-5+ years of experience in a systems-level role. The candidate will manage the "digital foundation" for three distinct industrial subsidiaries, ensuring high availability, security, and performance., * Experience: 3-5+ years in a systems-level role with a proven track record of stability in technical positions.

VDI Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Omnissa/VMware Horizon, specifically UAG and DEM.

Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for systems administration and infrastructure automation.

Server Admin: Strong background in Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, and Group Policy.

Virtualization: Proficiency in VMware vSphere 7/8 (ESXi and vCenter) management.

Cloud/Identity: Experience with M365, Intune, Entra ID, and Okta (SSO/MFA).

Storage/Backup: Experience managing NetApp storage arrays and Commvault backup solutions.

Education: Bachelor"s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of experience and certifications. Physical Requirements
