Job description
We are looking for an experienced Test Lead who will be responsible for defining and driving the overall testing strategy for our modernization programs. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality deliverables through effective test planning, execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams., Define a clear and robust testing strategy aligned with project goals and technical architecture. Establish comprehensive test coverage across all functional and non-functional areas. Ensure acceptance criteria are clearly defined, finalized, and signed off with the client. Lead the planning, design, and execution of test cases for applications built on the .NET/Angular technology stack. Manage end-to-end testing activities, including system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, developers, and business analysts to ensure alignment on quality objectives. Identify risks and issues related to testing and provide mitigation strategies. Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Mentor and guide the testing team to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards. Prepare and present test reports, metrics, and dashboards to stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience (typically 6+ years) in software testing, with at least 2 years in a Test Lead or similar leadership role. Strong understanding of modernization programs and testing strategies for legacy-to-modern technology transitions. Hands-on experience with .NET and Angular applications. Proficiency in test management tools (Jira). Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Test Complete ,Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). ISTQB or equivalent certification. Exposure to cloud-based testing environments (Azure, AWS).
