Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Architect V to support Radio Frequency (RF) Talent Center (RFTC) team, you will contribute to the mission supporting challenging programs related to Space Vehicles, Hypersonics, Human Space Flight and Interplanetary Missions, Missile Defense, and more., * Support Global Security portfolio of programs within the payload analysis group by architecting and developing the payload data processing and analysis tool suite

  • Lead efforts in software tool design, development, and automated testing
  • Collaborate closely with leaders and subject matter experts to identify data processing, analysis, and visualization needs, and develop and execute plans to deliver software products meeting those needs
  • Work with internal customers to ensure the success of payload products and milestones
  • Tackle complex challenges, learn RF payload theory of operation and mission, and meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders in support of delivering vital capabilities to the warfighter

Requirements

  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with software development within a Linux operating system environment
  • Experience using NumPy for data processing and/or linear algebra
  • Active Top Secret security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required, * Experience with Bokeh or other Python data visualization libraries for interactive investigative data processing tools
  • Experience with managing large diverse Python code bases
  • Experience automated CI testing and reporting on software quality metrics such as code coverage
  • Desire to learn linear algebra, optimal estimation, and digital signal processing techniques
  • Experience with Dask or other Python distributed computing frameworks processing large data sets
  • Experience with use of neural networks for regression analysis
  • Experience leading small technical teams across design lifecycle to produce products meeting technical specifications
  • Team player with the demonstrated ability to participate in cross functional teams and communicate and coordinate work as one team with common goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, management, and peers
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with algorithm definition and implementation
  • Experience with streaming and packetized data serialization and decomposition
