Job description

Lead Responsibilities: Continue the development of a holistic data collection system that can be used to:

  • Support intervention and in-class adjustments to practice.
  • Assess student progress towards achieving on the lag measures (MCAS/ACCESS) in real time.
  • Assist in creating intervention groupings and programs.

The Data and Assessment Lead Teacher will be able to support this strategy on both a technical and adaptive level e.g.

  • Deliver PD to all staff at CHS that promotes the use of MasteryConnect to gather achievement data and determine interventions
  • Delver PD to support staff to author and implement standards aligned assessments using MasteryConnect
  • Create investment at all levels and in all departments to support this work
  • Support the progress monitoring of the CHS Turnaround Plan
  • Build on the progress from this current year

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and licensed teacher in the respective discipline area who has demonstrated exemplary teaching and instructional leadership skills. Must be familiar with a variety of formal and informal assessments as well as the ability to manipulate and analyze data. A strong working knowledge of MasteryConnect preferred.
