Job description
This contractor will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across multiple cloud platform environments (Google, AWS, Azure. Etc). This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloudhosted applications, data, and infrastructure by applying best practices in identity, network, data protection, monitoring, and compliance. Selected individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the current Cloud Security Monitoring tool.
Team member will provide services in the following areas:
- Maintain Cloud Security Monitoring Tool
- Develop and implement automated security controls and guardrails across Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Maintain compliance with internal security standards and external regulatory frameworks through audits, remediation, and continuous monitoring
Requirements
- 8 years experience Designing and managing Cloud solutions (Google, AWS, Azure)
- 8 years of Hands-on experience performing risk assessments, vulnerability management, incident response, and cloud architecture task
- 8 years experience in Incident response, risk management, cybersecurity fundamentals, container security, and DevSecOps
- Effective, professional business communication and reporting
- Knowledge and hands on experience using Cloud Security Monitoring Tools (Ex WIZ, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Tenable Cloud Security), * Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification
- Experience with Cloud KMS, Cloud Armor, SCC, GKE, DLP, and Chronicle
